Funny stuff Ben says...

He loves to pretend everything is "booty trapped" - too much Scooby Doo!

He told James and me on a long drive that if we didn't stop singing, he was going to "call a policeman at 911 and put us in jail" - singing jail, I presume.

He is very thoughtful and worries about people he loves. He always blesses us when we sneeze. If I say "ouch," he asks me what happened. When I got back in the car today after pumping gas in the blustery cold, he asked if I was okay. He tells me to wear a sweater if it's cold outside.

He told me last night that he needs a haircut. He's right!

He asks me every day when I pick him up at school if I missed him and, if so, did I cry? I say yes every time.

He loves puzzles and is awesome at putting them together.

When we read a book about hobbies, I asked him what his hobby was, and he said, "Sitting in your lap!"

He still loves his books. We have tons of them. We negotiate every night to determine how many we read. It's usually five. I have hidden Fox in Socks because I hate reading it aloud. Seriously. It's horrible.

He says "Pop Tark" instead of Pop Tart.

When he wants to do something, he says, "I thought (fought) I could put up my tent/play in the bouncy house/have some of your tea/etc." in a high-pitched voice.

When he has to potty now, he asks me to leave. When he calls me back for help, the first thing he asks is, "Can you smell my poop, Mama? Cover your nose!" Gross! Sorry!

He will go anywhere with you if you call it an adventure. And everywhere we go with him is usually an adventure!
