Ben's First Birthday!

We had a fun family birthday party for Ben at a local park. He had a great time playing and getting tons of attention (and too many presents!). It was a nice way to celebrate his first year and how thankful we are to have him. Here are some pics!

11 months!

Ben is walking like a champ. Unfortunately, some bumps and bruises come with that. One of these pics shows his new forehead goose egg. Most of the time he is pretty steady on his feet.
He is eating table food most of the time now. He loves beef stew, grilled chicken, English peas, and broccoli. He does not love rice. He likes most fruits, especially grapes and peaches. He still loves puffs and Cheerios!
He is still saying mama and dada on a regular basis. He also added "uh oh" to his repertoire as well as "goodness". I say that after he coughs. He also says "boom boom" which is what I say when he falls down.
Ben got his hair cut Saturday, and now he really looks likes a little boy. It is a little sad to watch him grow so quickly! He is a healthy, happy baby so I guess we can't complain.

What can I say? Ben is walking!

9 months!

A new post is long overdue. Ben is nine months old now and is starting to take his tentative first steps. He is lurching forward and standing alone for a couple of seconds at a time. He just needs confidence. He is so much fun now. We love to hear him giggle and make him laugh. I'm going to attempt to post some videos from my new iPhone. I'm still learning this new phone so please forgive me if it takes a while.
