We spent some time at the zoo this weekend. It was hot but fun! Ben really liked the elephants and the monkeys.
He is talking like crazy now. He loves to bless us when we sneeze, and he also loves to say NO a lot! It's his favorite word now. Here's a typical exchange:
Me: "Do you want to go outside?"
Ben: "No!"
Me: "Okay, we'll stay here."
Ben: "No!!! Outside, outside, outside!!!
Me: "So you want to go outside?"
Ben: "No!"
Then he goes to the door and stomps his feet. Granted, some of this may just be a failure to communicate, but a big hunk of it is because he inching closer to the Terrible Twos. When the foot stomping and floor flinging starts, we just walk away. He usually stops after a few seconds and joins us as if nothing happened.
Other than that, he is the sweetest and cutest and smartest and any other "est" thing you can think of! He gives me kisses after I put him I the crib each night. When I start to walk off, he says, "One more, Mama." Who can resist that? I go back over and over for "one more" -- he's playing me like a fiddle.
Here are some pics and videos
