Cousin's graduation, visiting with family, and general goofiness!

More funny phrases

Ben is very precocious and his vocabulary is probably bigger than many adults. This more than likely is a result of having 2 parents who never shut up! Here are a few cute things he's said in the past couple of months:

When we rode by a local farm where the farmer had recently spread chicken poop over his field. Ben said, "The sky's breath stinks." When I told him that the farmer had spread chicken poop in the field, he said, "Oh, for fertilizer!" Don't know where he learned that...

He still says Pop Tarks, and we don't correct him because it's cute. 

When we took him to Dairy Queen for a treat, he asked if there would be a castle, and if so, does a "scary ogert" live there? 

We drove by a house with sprinklers in the yard and he said, "Look at those geysers!"

When he wants to do something I won't approve of, he tells me, "Mama, don't look at me for a little while, okay?" 

He is a sweet, smart, bossy, mischievous little boy, and we just adore him.

It's been super busy around here with finishing up the school year, soccer finals, and raising butterflies. Here are some pics!

We've had a busy few weeks as usual. We visited some historic Indian mounds, picked strawberries, played an epic game of costumed hide-n-seek, and planted a lot of flowers. Ben loves to be outside, so spring has officially "sprung" at our house!
